Personal Project
A modern line-art icon system designed in Figma to demonstrate my approach to structure, consistency, and scalable component set up. The exploration includes commonly used UI metaphors, built on a grid, with size and style variants.
Grid & Construction
Each icon is built on a consistent 24px grid with 2px strokes and a 2px inner padding. This ensures precise alignment, visual balance, and clean scaling.
File Structure & Styles
My file is organized into clear pages, layers, and component properties, with clean layer hierarchy and flattened/unioned shapes for optimization. I also defined a simple color palette to manage light, dark, and color variations easily.
Components & Naming System
As part of my exploration for this set, I created 2 variations of my components. Set 1 includes size variants (24px and 48 px) and Set 2 explores style variants of the same icons. A clear consistent naming system keeps both sets easy to browse, maintain and expand.
Final icon sets
Set 1 shows the full collection of 18 icons displayed in light and dark mode using color styles to easily update the color of the set. Set 2 highlights a smaller group of icons shown in six visual styles, demonstrating how the system adapts across outline, solid, color, and two-color variations.
